Synthesia review

The paid tier is $18 a month, listed on Synthesia's own pricing page. It is a flat monthly fee rather than a per-credit charge, so budgeting is a single line. That figure is the number to compare against the alternatives on this list before you pick a plan.

Free plan available. That lets you open the tool and see what it produces before committing to a paid tier, which is useful if several sites are on your shortlist. The paid tier then sits at $18 a month, so the free option carries no cost and the monthly figure does not change.

Yes, video generation is listed on its pricing page. The same paid tier of $18 a month covers it, and Free plan available means you can check the video output before paying for a month. Video work is the core of the plan rather than a separate purchase.

SecretDesires.ai is cheaper at $7.99 a month, and DeepSwap at $9.99 and Wordtune at $9.99 both come in under Synthesia's $18. The reason to pay more here is the video focus, not the entry price.

Support runs on help centre only, so written answers are the route for questions about billing, plan limits or your free plan. There is no live chat or phone line in that list, so if you want a person on a call, this is not the setup for it.

The site median for monthly price is €13.15, and Synthesia's $18 sits under it, so the fee falls below the middle of the field without making it the entry-level option. Readers on a tight budget will find cheaper picks on this list.

On monthly price, Synthesia sits at 57 out of 94 brands ranked, which places it in the middle rather than at either end. Its overall score is 5.2. Buyers who care most about the lowest fee will find cheaper options here.

Adults who want a video tool on one monthly fee and are comfortable with written-only support. It is less useful for anyone chasing the lowest entry price, since SecretDesires.ai at $7.99 and DeepSwap at $9.99 both charge less. The free plan lets you confirm the fit first.
