Output and usage rights
Image generation is listed as yes, and video generation is listed as yes, so stills and moving clips sit in the same place rather than in a separate tool. Chat runs with memory and roleplay, so a conversation can keep context between messages. Personas come in female and anime styles, and generations are charged on a Gem balance, with Gem credits per generation. A voice message draws on that same balance, and both media types sit under one subscription rather than two. The adult content policy allows uncensored adult generation, so the image side carries no filter. Age rules apply, since the terms of service set 18 minimum; no ID check stated.
Pricing and free tier
The monthly fee is $11.99. That sits below the site median of €13.15 and under the upper quartile of €21.70, and it ranks 38 among 94 brands compared on monthly price. For comparison, SecretDesires.ai lists $7.99, while DeepSwap and Wordtune both list $9.99. You can start without paying: Free signup with starter credits. Generations draw on a Gem balance, and Gem credits per generation sets the cost of each one, so heavier use drains the balance faster.
How it works
Promptchan runs on free and premium models, so the paid tier carries the larger allowances. Image generation is listed as yes and video generation is listed as yes, which puts stills and moving clips in the same subscription. The included allowance is 100 per month, and that is the ceiling before extra credits come in. Generations are charged against Gems; 100/400/800 per plan, voice msg 1 Gem, so the balance is what limits a heavy month. Voice is listed as yes, and each voice message draws on the same balance. Roles come in female and anime personas, and the service runs on Web, iOS and Android, so one account works in a browser and on a phone.
Who runs it
Promptchan is operated by VisionAI Labs Limited and is headquartered in Ireland, the legal entity named in the terms of service. Support runs on help centre and community, so help comes through a help centre and a community rather than a direct line. The privacy policy describes retention as necessary, with erasure on request, so data is held for as long as the policy allows and can be deleted if you ask. Age rules apply, since the terms of service set 18 minimum; no ID check stated. The adult content policy allows uncensored adult generation, so read the terms before uploading anything personal.
