Runway review

Runway charges $15 a month, which puts it above the €13.15 site median and in line with the €14.90 for adult image generators. On price it ranks 52 of 94 brands, so it is a mid range choice rather than a budget one.

Yes. Free plan with 125 one-time credits is the entry point, and the credits in it are a one-time grant rather than an allowance that refreshes each month. Adults who want a steady monthly supply of credits will need a paid plan, where Standard credits cover 78 Gen-4 images per 625 Standard monthly credits.

No. Prohibited sexual and explicit content appears in the terms of use, so the service is aimed at general creative output instead. Adults looking for adult material will need a different tool, and this is the clearest gap between Runway and the specialist alternatives in this comparison.

Yes. Video generation is part of the service, and model access runs across free and premium tiers for both still and motion work. Output can be upscaled to 4K upscaling, which matters for adults who want larger files for their own projects.

A Standard monthly plan covers 78 Gen-4 images per 625 Standard monthly credits, and the same plan is listed at 78 images a month. That per-month figure is the one worth comparing against other tools, and it is the clearest number for adults who mostly need stills.

The overall score is 4.7, split into a cost part of 6 and an offer part of 3.3. The cost part sits higher because the monthly price is mid range, while the offer part is pulled down by the one-time credit grant in Free plan with 125 one-time credits.

Not on monthly price. Runway charges $15 a month, while SecretDesires.ai lists $7.99, DeepSwap lists $9.99 and Wordtune lists $9.99. Adults shopping purely on monthly cost will find cheaper choices, though Runway does add video generation.
