Pros and cons
DarLink AI
Pros
- Create girlfriend, boyfriend or anime inspired companions from one starting point
- Adjust appearance direction, traits, interests and conversation style in detail
- Companions recall conversations, preferences and special moments over time
Cons
- Creation takes three steps before chat starts, not instant access
- Focus stays on romantic and character driven chat rather than broader uses
Kupid AI
Pros
- Chat is not metered on the free tier, and Unlimited chat free; free tier 15 messages also lists a free tier cap for anyone who wants a limit
- Image generation and video generation are both included, so the media many companion apps charge extra for sits in the same product
- Voice is available, and voice, telegram and roleplay also lists roleplay and Telegram, so text chat is only part of what the product covers
Cons
- Monthly fees of €24.99 sit well above the €13.15 for this category
- Coins pay for media rather than the plan itself, and Coins; plan-allocated, expire in 6 months means an unused balance simply lapses
- Memory is capped by plan at Last 30 messages (Pro), 100 (Ultra), a recent chat window rather than a long shared history

Questions about each
DarLink AI
What does DarLink AI offer?+
DarLink AI offers creation of AI girlfriends, AI boyfriends and anime inspired companions for private chat. You start from a character you like, then shape look, personality and background. The aim is conversation that moves beyond small talk into continuing stories.
How does customization work?+
Customization covers appearance direction, character style, traits, interests and conversation style. You can choose grounded and modern looks or imaginative and cinematic ideas, then set traits like playful, calm, curious or romantic. A focused set of traits keeps the voice consistent across chats.
Kupid AI
How much is Kupid AI each month?+
A single month costs €24.99, and the annual figure is €24.92. The monthly number sits above the €13.15 across the 65 brands compared on this site, so the free tier does much of the work.
Is there a free tier, and what does it include?+
Yes. Unlimited chat free; free tier 15 messages shows that chat is unlimited, with a free tier cap also listed for anyone who wants a hard limit. Image and video generation are extras that draw on coins rather than on the chat allowance, so plain text conversation costs nothing.
